Presidential Prayer Team Since September 11th, over 2.8 million people have joined the Presidential Prayer Team’s commitment to pray daily for the president, our leaders, our country, our children, and our troops. An “Adopt our Troops” campaign was launched to pray for the men and women serving around the world to defend our freedom. Over 1 million people have “adopted” a military serviceperson, encouraging each one of them directly through prayer. Kids are now important team members with their own interactive website, Presidential Prayer Team for Kids, at www.pptkids.org. Joni Eareckson Tada and Michael Smith, the honorary co-chairs of PPT, now also emphasize the importance of kids who have their own interactive website, Presidential Prayer Team for Kids, at www.pptkids.org.
